Here, medical attention and wellness are collaborative and necessary approaches to how we deliver care. The Foundation works in unison with medical staff to ensure donor contributions focus on the DISCOVERY methodology of care – patients discovering new ways to live well.

Donations are used to support each patient's plan towards wellness while in our care at Lakeridge Health Whitby post-acute care hospital. The Foundation invests our community's contributions into capital projects, equipment, specialized services and unique programs that benefit each patient and offer support to their loved ones.

Access to new technology presents patients with increased options for their treatment and therefore enhances their journey to recovery. Keeping pace with technological change is made easier thanks to the ongoing generosity of our many donors.
